The big six cylinder engine in the Triumph GT6 was actually a tractor engine with 11.5 to one compression ratio. The engine itself would run forever. The gearbox, rear axle, and electrical, not so much. I miss the sewing machine sound of a British engine.

I like the singles and have one. 500 Cubic inch in one tall cylinder. It was kind of cool to watch it rotate in a circle around the side stand as it idled. Every time the cylinder hit the tires scooted an inch to the side. lol

Had many big Harley riders try to kick that over and get thrown off because they didn’t know what they were doing. :)
