Does anyone remember the *store where shoppers shopped by catalog or display, turned in a number, paid, and THEN picked up? Everything was brought from the warehouse to the front. We will be going there if this keeps up.
*I think it was called Best Products.
I do remember it. Don’t know if that was the exact name but close.
IIRC it was called “Standard Sales”.....at least that was the name of the stores that had that business model where I am
I was at Bloomingdale’s yesterday and everything was in the back of the store, with only a few items in a glass case but nothing I would ever buy anyway..
We left because we couldn’t just impulse buy.
Went to Jomashop.com and bought it.
Should arrive tomorrow...
Feel sorry for my buyer at Bloomingdale’s. She’s been my go to person for 25 years and now she is reduced to helping us find things in a magazine, then ordering it...

“*I think it was called Best Products.”
Best Products it was! At least here in Virginia. They were headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. Several chains used that business model throughout the US. Not sure if any have survived.
Best Products...
