Uranus was discovered in 1781, long after Galileo's death.

I was looking at Thomas Paine's Age of Reason the other day. At one point he is discussing the planets and only mentions the ones known since antiquity (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn), never mentioning Uranus although he was writing more than 10 years after its discovery. He speculates that there are planets in orbit around other stars, which we now know to be true.
