Former California Rep. Katie Hill has tested positive for COVID-19 nearly 8 months into her pregnancy.
Hill, who resigned from Congress in 2019 amid a highly publicized “throuple” sex scandal, announced the diagnosis in a Saturday tweet.
“I’m boosted and got COVID and am now quarantined for Christmas while almost 8 months pregnant and though my symptoms are mild I really wish I’d cancelled my plans for the couple weeks before this,” the former lawmaker wrote.

for the millionth time, vaccination vastly increases the likelihood that if you get covid it will be mild. It isn’t what we hoped for, but it is way better than nothing.
Anti-vaxers are dying needlessly because of garbage arguments like this.

All these high profile breakthrough cases... and they all say they’re thankful their 32 shots made the symptoms mild.
Of course, my family’s bout with covid was mild and none of us were vaxx’d, so...
Pretty sure me, the wife, and kids had omicron two weeks ago. Bad cold. Stayed home. Rested. Took vitamins. All better. I was the only one vaxx’d (job requirement i regret) and I was just as bad as the rest of my family.
It’s just a narrative to sell doses. It might help the elderly or those with underlying conditions, but the rest of us healthy, 40ish adults who eat right and exercise don’t need it and it won’t do much good for us. In fact, it might do more harm, like it did for me.
Except for the vaccinated that die of COVID anyway.
To clarify, our first bout with covid was January. Suspected omicron was two weeks ago.
We never wear masks and we don’t avoid public places.

Sorry - you sound ridiculous. Take a medicine that makes you a super spreader to those that don’t. You cannot know what is in it, know the data for the testing for 75 years, cannot sue for immediate or future injuries, oh and by the way, they were found guilty and paid the largest criminal fine in history for selling bad drugs.

4.5 billion people have taken a vaccine for covid. The news is when a vaccinated person catches covid, and not the every day story of an anti-vaxer dying a horrible death.
I bet you can’t find one person who died from a vaccine in your county... and on the miracle chance you do, there will be 100 deaths from covid.
