I have emailed my Congresswoman, written and called. Before my number was blocked, I spoke with an intern at my Congresswoman's office who did not know who Ray Epps is, and provided no information. My question was, "why was Ray Epps not arrested when he was video recorded instigating illegal acts during the January 6 riots?".
If my Representative replied "sorry, we can get no information on why Mr. Epps was not arrested", I believe I could live with that. But I feel like I am being gaslighted.

The problem with our representatives, is they probably are seduced by the perks and the possibilities of a career in politics. Politics becomes the best they can ever hope to achieve in life. They are virtually unqualified for any other job in which they could make half as much money. Many are not qualified for anything else. AOC could go back to bartending, etc.
