What in the world could have happened? Mid-air collision? Engine explosion tore the whole tail off?
Too low and hit a power line after cancelling their IFR clearance and requesting VFR / change of runway from where originally cleared. That was when they said “Oh, Snap, oh snap...”
Sad, but Pilot Error...

Looks like something came off the A/C and it was on fire, and corkscrews into the ground.
Seems it was so quick, that the pilot couldn’t even take emergency measures.

That audio of the pilot asking the tower to turn up the runway lights, with the tower telling him they’re at 100%, followed by the pilot screaming leads me to think he wasn’t where he thought he was.
