So whats the methodology of showing your weapon without it being “brandonshing “??
You hold it pointing down with your finger off the trigger.
The mere presence of a weapon in your hand is not considered “brandishing”.

From the link:
Brief Synopsis: Brandishing a weapon is when someone shows another person a weapon, i.e. a gun or a knife, in an angry or theatening manner with the intent that the other person experience fear or anxiety. The crime, at Penal Code ยง 417, is a wobbler.
When you stand next to your vehicle, gun in one hand, and both hands down in tront of you with the finger exposed as not on the trigger, you are not “brandishing” unless you add threatening remarks. By doing it that way you are simply showing the person who is, in fact, threatening you, that you have the ability to defend yourself, if necessary.
Wondering the same thing. Most often if you do anything obviously deliberate to allow your gun to be seen it’s considered brandishing.
I put about 10,000 miles a year on my motorcycle and I pretty much always carry. I do have a carry permit even though it’s not necessary in Kentucky.
I’ve had some irritatingly close calls because of stupid drivers, but I don’t recall a maliciously aggressive driver while riding my bike. My attitude is they are driving a 3000 pound weapon; if somebody wants a confrontation I’m going to get the hell out of there. It helps that I’m not a dick motorcycle rider and I don’t do the things that piss off drivers. Hauling ass and weaving through traffic pisses off drivers. And following too close. Which is one of the dumbest things you can do on two wheels.
