I agree with you. Let’s take Sandgren, he stated he does not believe in the vax and so he opted out of the A Open, even though he has done well there. His current ATP ranking is 93 and earnings of 3.3 million he knew they could care less if he played. On the other hand Djokovic who also has stated he doesn’t believe in the vax is #1 in the world and earnings of 154 million dollars, a net worth of 220 million, so Joker tried to use his power to push his way into the tournament. Sandgren didn’t have a private jet, endless money for a legal fight and knew there was nothing he could do. So how would that have been fair to Sandgren or any other player for that matter, if they allowed Djokovic?
Djokovic is there to defend his title. Sandgren can only be worth the money and be the Riddler or catwoman or WTF ever if he beats Djokovic. I fail to see Djokovic as a COVID threat playing a sport on a court, social distanced from the audience, his opponent, and the refs (even the ball retriever’s) This isn’t a Djokovic issue when there are already over 100,000 Austrialian COVID cases, and he’s being tested with tests that don’t work, and are being manipulated by a tyrannical government.
