Two longtime House Democrats announced that they will retire from Congress at the end of their terms rather than seek reelection in 2022, adding to a growing number of Democrats who are leaving Congress as anxiety grows about Republicans winning back the House in 2022.
Pennsylvania Rep. Mike Doyle, 68, and North Carolina Rep. David Price, 81, made retirement announcements on Monday.
Doyle is the longest-serving member of Pennsylvania’s current congressional delegation, having first been elected to Congress in 1994, and was also a longtime coach for the Democrats in their annual Congressional Baseball Game for Charity.
“I believe the time has come to pass the torch to the next generation,” Doyle said in a press conference, adding that he believed he could be reelected in 2022 if he ran again. He said the coronavirus pandemic made him and his wife accelerate their retirement plans.
The voters have caught on to the Democrat vote fraud game. From the results of the 2020 election, it seems that the Democrats have been able to engineer a margin of fraud of 6% into many competitive election races. In the 2020 election, the Democrats were able to get away with their fraud because only 32% of precincts had serious Republican poll watchers and many of those poll watchers were intimidated or blocked from any oversight by Democrats or their thugs. In Virginia and other states , the polls had a 98% Republican poll watcher turn out and those poll watchers were pissed off people motivate to prevent fraud. They were well backed up with harder Republican party officials and lawyers who were more aggressive and hard nosed than in past elections to push back on aggressive Democrat fraudsters. The Democrats got their butts kicked
👍😀
Doyle is my (Pittsburgh, PA) Congressman. Claims to be a Catholic.
Yet he convinced Stupak’s followers that Obamacare had NO PROVISION FOR ABORTION which led to its passage.
Doyle, you lied. Millions of babies were dismembered because of your lies. Catholic or not, you are destined for hell.
I agree.....I haven’t looked into it either. But I recall from the 2012 wave, any demholeseat that won (in 2010) by 10 or less is flip-able.
I plan on being a poll watcher in the 2022 elections. I agree that the reason VA went for Youngkin was because so many people showed up to watch the the Democrats had to scurry away from the light.
Good summary!
in what midterm in the last 50 years were there the most retirements?
retirements in the early 90’s by democrats were highest.

Personally, I think that the Dem in Blue districts are being forced out by The Squat.
Their plan is to pack the House with radicals.
Virginia?
Riggers feeling the heat 28 and counting
