Congressional candidate Robby Starbuck has a released campaign video with Senator Rand Paul’s endorsement of him for Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District.
“I’m endorsing Robby Starbuck because he’s one of the good guys. He’s one of the guys who really will go to Washington and do as he says,” Paul states in the video.

People are likely to reflexively vote for whoever Trump endorses.
So we will end up electing and re-electing a lot of Bush League Republicans.
Bush League Republicans are antithetical to MAGA, but he keeps endorsing them.

The former speaker of the TN House of Representatives lives in the district. Well-known, will get votes in Belle Meade and Williamson Cty. (named Beth Harwell)
I trust Rand Paul’s endorsement here more than Trump’s.
His endorsements should be ignored if you look at who he has endorsed in the past.
This woman was for Yeb! in 2016.
I think Trump was the best President of my lifetime, however his endorsements are counter-productive to his stated goal of Making America Great Again.
Bush League Republicans goal is the opposite, they want to Make America North Mexico.
Re-electing Amnesty Senators is just stupid.
Funny enough didn’t they endorse different candidates in the TN U.S. Senate race ?
The doctor Rand endorsed (Manny something) almost beat Trump’s pick (Hagerty).
It was a close one I think.

It is commonplace on FR for a well-intended discussion to quickly get hijacked by concern trolls..
I am a a huge Rand Paul fan - in fact he was my favorite in 2015 until Trump took the lead so dramatically. I also like DeSantis from what I’ve seen so far.
But there is clearly a strategy to try and pit our best people against each other - this is the enemy trying to divide us. They pretend to care about the MAGA movement - they pretend their criticism of Trump is constructive - it is not.
Again, I’m not talking about you - but it’s naive to think “nobody is demonizing anyone”
You can rest assured I have no agenda.
Rand has no chance of the nomination perhaps for another 8 years.
I know this.
And Trump was a fine president considering his predecessors and probably the best in my short life.
I am rooting for him.
That said his endorsements can suck and and an area where he can improve.

You might be right in your suspicions but we all know this is a moderated forum and those with an agenda or working for the other side will get found out and zotted

No, they won’t get zotted unless they repeatedly break the rules - and being a troll is not against the rules.
Just as we shouldn’t make laws that prevent people from speaking freely, we shouldn’t expect the moderators on FR to protect us from dishonest people with hidden or opposing agendas.
We must allow free speech - even here on FR - and protect ourselves and each other - by learning to recognize dishonesty when we hear it.
