Excluding the Bad Boys from fame never seems to work.
One of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world was the Temple of Artemis. A magnificent structure that was sadly burned down by someone named Herostratus. It seems that Herostratus wanted to be famous and, since he didn’t have very much going for him, Herostratus decided that burning down a major landmark was the best way to have everyone know the name of Herostratus.
As part of his punishment, it was decreed that the name of Herostratus would be stricken from the records. No one would know the name of Herostratus, and Herostratus would not be famous at all, as no one would ever know what Herostratus did.
But, obviously, someone wrote the story down. The dude’s kind of famous.
Infamous.
