Do you really think a sociopath who has been in a position of power for some time would?
What is more, this wouldn’t just be admitting your wrong and apologizing, from the perspective of someone like him, this would be like yielding to the power of the mob and rewarding mass dissent. We can never have that!!! (unless they are leftist/marxists posing as civil rights protestors)
I will admit it is rare for someone of Trudeau’s temperament to admit a mistake.
