and give Canadians a good shot at acquired immunity,

Acquired immunity from COVID is just as possible as acquired immunity from the common cold.

I know of two people specifically that 1) caught COVID before vaccinations were available, 2) subsequently got the vaccines and boosters, then 3) got COVID again anyway.

Natural immunity didn't prevent a second infection. Vaccinations and boosters didn't prevent a second infection. NOTHING will prevent a second, third, fourth infection.

It's time to end the insanity, and recognize that COVID is now a permanent part of our cold and flu season.

Your statements are excellent. I too am aware of priorly infected and/or fully vaxxed friends and relatives getting COVID a second time.

It certainly supports a position that the present vaccine regimens ought to be ditched -— particularly in view of the fact that two close friends got a shot to protect some unhealthy family members only to have the (self-quarantined) family get COVID and almost die shortly thereafter.

Coincidence??? Maybe, maybe not. However, it seems that the drug companies are the only ones are holding the best risk-to-reward ratio. (Zero Risk to $Billions Reward)
