Bob Saget’s family is providing an update to his fans after he passed away last month at 65.
In a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, the late Full House star’s relatives confirmed that authorities have determined the cause of death to be head trauma. The message added that drugs and alcohol were not involved.
“They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep,” the family stated of the investigation into Saget’s death.
The comedian was found dead in his Orlando hotel room on Jan. 9. At the time, no information was released on the cause of death, but the sheriff’s department said no signs of foul play or drug use had been found.

Could be that he dropped something underneath a hotel room desk and came up unexpectedly extra hard.
Oh… and, yes, the item’s title is not accurate… the family didn’t “determine the cause of death”. Today’s “journalists” suck at their craft.
Maybe he fell over and it his head on a microphone.
I’m just glad it wasn’t lifestyle related anyway.

This sounds plausible. I have blood pressure on the low side, and sometimes when I get up at night, I have to do it slowly or I get dizzy. I’ve had a few episodes where I’ve fallen — one fairly recently where I cracked my mouth and head. That night I had imbibed a little too much bourbon and had taken a Benadryl before bed. I went straight back to bed after I regained consciousness and looking back on it, I probably shouldn’t have. It scared the crap out of my wife.
Sounds like Saget may have had an episode similar to that.

Um... the phrase is “Just deserts” as it apt punishment. And yes, it is spelled with one “S”.
