Doesn’t the plaintiff have the choice of having a trial before a jury or before a judge?

Conservatives and patriots are second-class citizens.

No justice, no peace.

Traitors must swing.

I can’t imagine that anyone thought this would end any other way. First of all in NY, or in any of the other communist people’s republic city states around the US, for Sarah Palin, or any other conservative pol it would be nearly impossible to win a case like this. Maybe she can get somewhere on appeal but I doubt it.

, concluding that Palin’s lawyers had failed to show the publication acted with actual malice.

........

Is there a difference between “actual malice“ and “malice.” Since we no longer have equal justice under the law in the United States of America, perhaps there is.

Judge setting a standard future democrats can be smacked with. Tread carefully, suicide tends to be multiple gunshots with them.

In the Kyle Rittenhouse case, the judge withheld his decision on a directed verdict until the jury came back. If the jury doesn’t convict, the judge doesn’t have to stick his neck out.

“Actual malice” has been the presstitute libel loophole for far to long.

It's an allowed process called a Judgment not on the verdict. What this really suggests is that there is a corrupt judge who has figured that the jury will decide in Palin's favor.

But whereas it is very hard to appeal a jury verdict, it is easy to appeal a judge's decision.

So at the end of the day, the judge is off the hook. He did what he could to swing it to the Times and if he is over-ruled well that is on the COA.

What is interesting is that he did not dismiss it earlier.

Is she seriously suggesting that the pinkos at NYT don’t have malice against Governor Palin?

Laughable.

"Judge setting a standard future democrats can be smacked with"

Really?! In what alternate universe do you expect to see that happen?
