I know not everyone here shared these views however I sense this could be changing...
***FR used to have a very heavy handed bootlicker brigade but they are silent of late. It’ll take a decade before they acknowledge how wrong they were, but by then it’ll be pretty much too late for all the damage done.
I gave up on the police when I was told by a detective that intentionally writing a bad check was not a crime but a civil matter. The detective should have just told me it wasn’t worth his time. Further incidents included numerous businesses not filling out property reports, purchasing jewelry and rare coins from minors with no penalty. It made me realize the police care more about the chamber of commerce and take revenue than protecting the public.
I was one of them as my two uncles and grandfather were cops. Heck, my grandfather was the first chief of police of PHL. But they started seeing things change a while back and sadly, there is no part of government I trust anymore…zero, none!
Nope. As long as they are jackboots to lick, there will be jackboot lickers. they are drawn together like a moth to a flame. Th paraphrase Kipling: Like a dog to his vomit. Like a sow to her mire. The dry, bruised lips and dry sore tongue of the jackboot licker bows down and reaches out one more time for the jackboot to lick.
The Jackboot Licker Brigade is still here. Right now they are silent.
