Recently this disconnect has gotten significantly worse. The left is starting to really show their true tyrannical fascist colors and along with it has come even more "out there" notions in order to support their ever more authoritarian behaviors. Currently (because who knows what foolishness they'll foist on us tomorrow) two of the most glaring examples of this are:
Take the whole gender thing - 57 genders? Men can menstruate? "Birth person?" How can they spew this {censored} with a straight face? It is idiocy. Not so long ago if someone had made such claims people would've asked if that person had been dropped on their head as a child.
The "science" behind the scam-demic. A bug that for most demographics is nothing worse than a bad flu was used as an excuse to virtually shut down the global economy and claim all kinds of "temporary" and "emergency" powers. Two years into "two weeks to flatten the curve" and there is no end in sight - just a continual stream of variants and dictatorial decrees. Then there's the flip flop on "masks for everyone" to/from "masks don't work" or "only these kinds of masks..." Or better yet - social distance at the airport...just before being wedged into an aircraft literally shoulder to shoulder. Or masks in restaurants! Until you're seated, apparently the virus only infects the standing/walking? Or "the vaccines work!" but "the vaccines don't work - you need a booster." A booster of the exact same stuff they say doesn't work. Wait, what? No, you can't make this stuff up.
The common theme is none of this makes any {Diety-cursed} sense. We are just being jerked around so that we focus our energy on whatever the latest decree is rather than on the fact that we're being jerked around and no-longer free. eff the fascists.
Teachers and lawyers are among the hardest people to reach with anything outside the narrative.
