Agreed. Its insanity and evil are due to the Lord Who has given them over to depravity. And with King Saul when the Spirit of the Lord left him, another spirit came to him and vastly inflated his most corrupt and base passions and took control of his thoughts.
Great analogy.
When one rejects God, they leave themselves open to anything and everything demonic.
