A family who lost their 2-year-old son due to respiratory complications of the flu virus 11 years ago have shared that what God did for their lives, and in the lives of others through their son, has been nothing short of a miracle.
A former atheist, dad Darin Hamm shares his story of how a glimpse of heaven transformed him and led him on a journey of faith, while his late toddler son, Griffin, was given only a few hours to live before he was taken off life support.
A bright-eyed little boy with beautiful curly blonde locks of hair, Darin and his wife, Jennifer, state that their toddler son, Griffin, was a “content, happy, and observant child who loved what all boys do—tractors, cars, and being outside with his daddy.”
“It took seven years to have him,” his parents told The Epoch Times, “and he was a gift from God.”
While parenting Griffin and their older son, Dylan, went smoothly for Darin and Jennifer, the father-of-three states that they’d been walking through a very difficult time in their marriage.
Jennifer described that, during that time, her husband dealt with a profound amount of anger and frustration toward others. It was not uncommon for him to get into an altercation with someone who upset him at the store or out in the community. He was often unpredictable, and she’d been counseled to think of divorce. However, she struggled and found hope through her faith.

Although I have never seen Heaven in any vision or dream that I’m aware of, I do have first hand experience at God communicating with me and looking after me.
I’ve had a few interesting experiences myself.

The Grace of God is real. Many have had the peace that passes all understanding, as a free gift of love from the Holy Spirit.
I believe everybody has had Godly experiences in their lives, some just refuse to admit it.
It may be a long time before anyone gets to heaven. We will have to experience the Tribulation, the Millennium, then the Final Judgment before the New Jerusalem is created.
When I accepted Christ as my lord and savior I felt a presences in my heart. It was profound and has lasted for over 50 years!
I’ve always felt God’s presence in my life. Walking in the favor of God, even when I’ve not been very faithful, I have felt His open arms calling me. Blessed so much more than I deserve. Praise Father God, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
No, it won’t for believers in Jesus Christ.
The marriage supper of the Lamb takes place in the book of Revelation and the bride is portrayed as being made ready.
And that bride is the body of Christ, all church age believers who have been removed from the world when God begins to pour out His judgment on it for their sins.
Ditto. He guides me and He instructs me through His Word.
This is a wonderful story.
Perhaps, you are referring to our physical bodies. To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. Our souls will immediately be with The lord or not...
Beautiful story. I believe it totally. And to the cynic, I say, if you know God, your spirit will bear witness that this is real. God is love -— pure love, unlike we can really experience here, except for glimpses of it, as these people had. Just imagine.
Is Paradise and Heaven the same thing?
Do we need a Venn diagram to understand it?
I’ll confess that, though I do believe in supernatural events, voice of God, and miracles (since we’ve experienced them), I’m with you on the “I’ve seen Heaven” stuff. Frankly, I consider them all, like mine, personal. To anyone else they are second hand stories, which is what atheists call the death and resurrection of Christ.

Amen.Unbelievers are missing out on so, so, so much. The best part is his blessings and grace are free and so easily acquired. My advice to the unbeliever, get on your knees, admit sincerely to God you are a sinner, need help, and please come into my life. Your life will never be the same, the earlier the better. Please please don’t miss out any longer on his blessings and grace…..

I lost my beloved brother-in-law unexpectedly last Tuesday. He and my older sister raised me. I lost her two years ago. We are all Christians. This story was very comforting.

There have many times where God spared me, for His Purpose. I don’t pretend to know what is to happen next.
