Of course there wasn't. I neglected what many put in their comments, a sarcasm signal of some sort, and seem to have been taken too seriously. For a misunderstanding I apologize to you.
The foolishness of this all is that the mere pejorative is getting people too easily riled up. At a dinner party, a "Karen" had decided I was a "racist," and I asked how she would know. Skin color was her answer. So, I observed, your argument is that different colors of skin have different information about people. That's the classic definition of a racist. She was not happy being called a racist, though happy to accuse another of it.
I am sorry. I totally missed it as being sarcasm, that was my fault.
Not an excuse for my sensitivity, just explaining. I post / chat elsewhere and have also had the racism charge labeled to me only in a real attempt to impugn for similar comments I make which are obviously not racist.
You are right about it being thrown around. Every liberal out there immediately goes to racist not, even just to preemptively label a person.
