My company (a major one you would know) started to roll out a digital vax verification app.

They just dropped it.

Their policy is you still have to be vaxxed to come into the office, but they are no longer verifying your vax status. They aren’t even asking people verbally as the come in the office if they are vaxxed.

I’m not sure a lot of companies are going to want to go along with a vax passport. Their job is making money. Verifying vax passports is just another form of government pain-in-the-arse paperwork for them to deal with.

The problem is that they’ve now got it in place and can re-instate it at any time. And with each time they re-instate it, it becomes less of a shock.

A major defense contractor for whom I used to work dropped the shots requirement and told everyone to get tested if they were coming into the office or the factory.

They stood to lose 10% of their workforce over the shots mandates, and kept delaying the deadline.

They came up with the testing rule after the judge made his ruling about the fed contractor mandate.
