Cutting Russian hacking gangs off from the USA is to our benefit, and I can’t think of anything useful that would be lost.

What makes you think they'll turn off THOSE routers?

I'm sure they'll think about cutting off Ivan and Olga Q Public-sky, but the Russia Government will still monitor, ping and sniff packets. And create bots promoting their virtues, ideals, whatever to put out there. The cost of doing that is minuscule compared to the results. State hackers won't be banned.

What about the many folks who may have walked across the southern border? Not to mention the tens of thousands of Afghan Trojan horses that have been dropped off here? And of course then there are the newly minted Ukrainian refugees. I’m sure the Russians wouldn’t sprinkle a few friendlies in with those.

Any signals monitored abroad can be transmitted back encrypted to the home country. That’s been going on for decades.

So is it me, or does it seem like the people taking the biggest hit over all this is us?

What's to stop Russian hackers in other countries from continuing to re-elect Biden?
