Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov say Russia will halt military action if Kiev meets four conditions.

In an interview on Monday, Peskov said Moscow could “end war immediately” if Ukraine agreed to sign a neutrality agreement that would bar it from entering NATO, recognized Crimea as Russian, recognized the regions of Luhansk and Donetsk as independent, and ceased all military action.

If the Kremlin spokesman is noy lying, and that is a big if, this is not a terrible deal for Zelensky. When you meet an overwhelming force with an underwhelming defense, this deal is a no brainer, no matter how unfair this war is. You take it if you want to survive.to fight another day, I am sure Europe would be all over Zelensky's case to take the deal. They don’t want their energy supply to be jeopardized.

⚡️Russia claims it will stop the war immediately if Ukraine agrees to:

- cease military action
- change constitution to enshrine neutrality
- recognize Crimea as Russian territory
- recognize the Russian-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk as independent states

And you see no coverage of this in the US media because the US does not want peace.

I wonder how the USA would respond if there was a war between two drug cartels in Mexico, the Cartel Del Norte and the Cartel de Jalisco..would they risk their economy and put their citizens at risk to support one or the other. Ukraine and Russia are both THUGS...criminal government officials whose notarious bribe taking is known to all.

These are basically the same conditions that Putin has been demanding all along. And these are not unreasonable conditions.

Perhaps now Ukraine and its NATO allies will come to their senses and put a stop to this war.

If this offer was made yesterday and was truly handed down by Putin I would have expected to have heard some type of response by now. Maybe there was, but I haven’t seen anything on any news sites.

Putin is counting on the puppet Zelensky to reject it.

Russia has spent blood and treasure attempting to re-occupy everything East of the Dneiper and along the Black Sea - the same land that was incorporated into Russia under Peter I and Catherine II “The Great” in the 1700s’

I can’t imagine them ever giving it back.

So in-effect accept my takeover of large chunks of your Country while ensuring you remain weak and without allies so I can come back later for the rest.

“And these are not unreasonable conditions.”

Your nuts.

Giving up large chunks of their country? Reasonable?

people equate this war to Germany invading France or the USA invading Iraq.

No - this is really a civil war. Its one slavic people, with nearly the same language, same culture, same religion. Ukraine (the east anyway) was part of Russia for 300+ years

Just imagine if in 1861, Virginia managed to be recognized by UK, France, etc... and with their help - stay “independent” for 30 years. What would Lincoln and the especially the “Radical Republicans” have had to say about it?

Zelensky will accept those points of the deal.

Right now, the negotiations remain on how large a military Ukraine will keep after the war as well as if Putin will get a puppet Prime Minister.

I agree with you. Those are reasonable terms. Crimea and those areas are more Russian than not.

BOTH regions have ALWAYS had "special conditions" attached to their being part of Ukraine. And IIRC, they were considered Independent areas.

And that dumb a** Krushchev should have NEVER "gifted" Crimea to Ukraine.

That Civil War, and that's what it is, in the Donblast region has been going on for years...

When the coup happened and the Chocolate King was installed...he promoted the hate of Russians...even ordering "No more Russian Language" etc etc. He was a filthy, rich b******.

I'm tryting to be honest..No one likes this war.

Counter-the Crimea becomes independent also if the other two are. Under joint protectorate of the Ukraine to the north and the Russians to the east.

Watched a report today-not MSM BTW, where a free lance reporter in the Ukraine battlefield is following a bunch of Ukrainians who are out collecting abandoned Russian military equipment. One being a mobile surface to air launcher. Lots of mobile artillery pieces and armored transportation equipment.

And the Ukrainians know how to use the stuff.

The Russian advanced forces are running out of fuel and getting out and walking away.

Zelensky is not a puppet. He just is..and doesn’t know what to do. If he used his own brain, he would take these terms. They are reasonable. NATO and the USA money tree are controlling things...and need to step back.
