***A great number of those lefty rags have readers who are just plain incapable of seeing bias, basically are trusting these news sources as “mainstream”. They aren’t very partisan, they’re just undiscerning.
So when they run across people like us who are discerning, who don’t buy into what these partisan outlets are spouting, it shocks these unapprehending souls and they don’t know how to defend their own viewpoints — as it turns out, it wasn’t their viewpoint in the first place, it just became a position by way of osmosis.
