Not too many years ago we had hundreds of thousands of people in the streets protesting our own wars, and nobody was calling them “treasonous,” not even then-President Bush, who defended their right to protest. But now it’s “treasonous” to express doubts about escalating a war that we aren’t even officially a party to.
I suspect the difference is that this is a war the Western Left -- Democrats and Assistant Democrats -- wants, thereby aligning themselves with the military-industrial complex. Strange bedfellows.
