Progressive Caucus Urges Biden to Declare Climate Emergency, Stop New Fossil Fuel Extraction, Turbocharge Renewables
WASHINGTON— The Congressional Progressive Caucus called on President Biden today to declare a climate emergency, ban federal fossil fuel leasing and extraction, and build distributed renewable energy systems under the Defense Production Act.
The lawmakers also urged Biden to issue executive orders to advance environmental justice and make clean air and water accessible for all.
“There’s no question that we’re in a climate emergency. The caucus is absolutely right that President Biden should declare it so we can build the energy security that only renewable energy can bring,” said Jean Su, director of the Center for Biological Diversity’s energy justice program. “Biden can act quickly, without Congress and without Joe Manchin, to stop oil and gas drilling on public lands and unlock his emergency powers to end the era of deadly fossil fuels. He must answer the caucus’s call and turbocharge the renewable energy transition with the Defense Production Act.”

There is danger here. We have a one term President with both houses. He can do this without any worry about re-election. By the time a new Congress is sworn in next January much of the destruction will have taken place.
The fools will turbo-charge inflation on everything across the board. Virtue signaling with the worst of consequences. And they’re blind to it. Or they think it’s worth it until they’re nose deep in it.
I think what is going on here is that they are working for China, selling out the USA in the worst way, destroying us as a superpower in Chinas quest for global domination. This is treason in every sense of the word. Democrats are dumb, but they are not this stupid. They damn well know what they are doing would get them elected right out of office. Well guess what? They no longer have to worry about that because they have enough people involved where they can fix elections. Either we rebel or get use to living out of a tent.

We are, perhaps, in the early stages of World War III. I think that pretty much everyone can’t agree that if World War III does actually break out, it will before long go nuclear. No one same wants this of course but that does not negate the situation that we are in, nor the probabilities of direct conflict between the United States and Russia ending up that way.
Despite this, and despite the economy getting ready to have an immense inflationary spiral because of all of the inflation that was baked into the future by the federal reserve flooding the market with money, as well as the upcoming food and fertilizer shortages induced by the war in Ukraine, these bloody morons are fixated on getting fossil fuels out of our economy. Not only does it not make sense from the pure physical and economic point of view if there was no inflation facing us, and no prospect of a Third World war, but we are actually facing inflation and the prospect of a massive conflict. The very worst possible time that anyone could ever possibly pick to start limiting fossil fuels is right now. As if on cue, this nonsense comes out from America-hating, Leftist, morons.

Anyone who is not already running their home & car 💯% on home solar (or appropriate equivalent) is not in a moral position to make such demands. Tesla.com has been offering it long enough, needing only 10 minutes and a credit card, that advocates have no excuse.
Delivery time on Teslas is 6 months and rising. Presumably comparable delays on solar panels. Without cheap plentiful oil, we can’t build more factories fast enough.
What’s going to be interesting is to see how they handle the airline industry. Will we have battery operated planes? This I have to see
