I can hardly fill my gas tank without being treated to BOOM!-BOOM!-BOOM! by somebody who fills their brain with that garbage and figures the rest of us need to have our brains poisoned with it; oops I mean share the joyful, uplifting musical experience.
Fortunately, with Joe’s high gas prices, I can’t afford to be at the pumps for very long.

Listening to a Top 40 countdown of the songs from 1983 on the 80s station on Sirius right now and nearly every song is a pleasure to listen to. From rock to soul to jazz to New Wave, the songs were well-crafted.
1983 was just before angry rap began dominating Top 40. Our society has been in decline ever since. Not sure rap is the cause or an effect. Maybe a bit of both.
