To be precise Rogozin did not specifically say “virus” and did not specify which race (or nationality) US bioweapon is meant to target—I think the blogger I linked simply takes it for granted that Russians are the targets. He is a known figure and highly unlikely would be making such accusation without proofs obtained from captures US bioweapon facilities.
And if this happens to be a true story, this is serious.
There are not large enough genetic differences between “races” to make this crap possible, much less genetic differences between nationalities. Ignorant, fearmongering propaganda.
Fact is, it’s possible, and many countries are working on it.
Our genes can identify where we came from, and what % Irish, Italian, various African locales, etc. That means yes, specific genetic codes are specific to people from a previously homogeneous group.
It also means a virus can be made to target that code. Noteasy, but absolutely possible.
Some folks think that was the Wuhan Flu’s next steps. Jut got released too early.
