I am pleased to announce the appointment of Arnold Schwarzenegger as Chairman of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, and I challenge him to raise the consciousness of all Americans on the importance of good health through physical fitness.
The physical health of all Americans must have a stronger commitment than an annual New Year's resolution. We now know that individuals can influence their health, fitness, and productive prime of life through the active pursuit of regular exercise programs. I have asked Arnold to chair the Council because I believe he is uniquely qualified to address and influence national health and fitness issues, especially among our youth. Arnold has devoted much of his career to the pursuit and advocacy of physical fitness. His abilities have produced a broad range of career successes involving athletic competition, acting, and business ventures.
The continued success of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports is in large part due to the efforts of past Councils and Chairmen, especially immediate past Chairman Dick Kazmaier. I have asked Dick to remain on the Council so that his experience and knowledge can be of benefit to the new Chairman. I will be announcing other new members of the Council in the very near future, and I know that through the Council's work and Arnold's leadership physical fitness will become a priority for all Americans in the 1990's.
and to think Maria Shriver is the prettiest Kennedy woman!!
Biden probably wants Stacy Abrams in this role. :)
Old leg humping ape that can’t even drive
Because nothing says fitness like steroids leading to heart surgery, concentration camp dieting, and male beauty pageants.
That doesn't sound right, I've used "View Source" from Chrome as recently as a few days ago. Granted, that was on a real computer, not a mobile. The mobile apps typically don't give that option.
turncoat.
She's not stupid, you have to give her that. She might even be too good for him.
Images can be copied, saved, opened in a new tab, etc. But the image is not HTML -- there's no "source" associated with the image itself.
If you're looking for the HTML source code that includes the URL of the image (e.g. so that you can embed the image in an FR comment), you have to right-click on the text of the article/page that the image is on.
Then you will see "View Source", and you can search in the source HTML for the reference to the image, which will typically be something like:
<IMG SRC="https://some_website.com/some_path/image.jpg">There may be additional elements after the SRC string and before the closing angle bracket, such as:
WIDTH="600"If you want to post an image that is very large, it is good to use the WIDTH element and set a value less than 1000. There's no need to explicitly add a HEIGHT element, since modern browsers will automatically scale the HEIGHT of the image so that the displayed aspect ratio stays the same as the original.
Prior to about 7-14 day ago, ‘page source’ was a menu item when right clicking on the image and quickly (just a few seconds) locate/copy the HTML for the image.
MS changed something.
Okay, that's interesting. I don't think I've ever seen or used the option as you describe it. I -have- used "Copy Image Location" which gets the URL of the image, but not the HTML code of the <IMG SRC=...> reference.
Well, you've piqued my interest. :-) I run Win10 in a VM, and I keep old backup copies of the VM in case of damage, malware, or a screwed Windows Update. The backups pre-date the change you mention (more than 2 weeks old) by a good bit.
I'll see if I can confirm/deny the presence of such a context menu option in the old versions.
Heh. I assure you that the context menu item ‘view source’ was included when right clicking an image, and ‘recently’.
That’s how I’ve been getting the HTML off of images to post for 10-15 years. Now whether it was 2 or 4 or 6 weeks, I can’t be sure:
Time flies when you’re having fun. /s April 15th certainly crept up on my ass.
I do appreciate the curiosity; I’m also a dog with a bone, so-to-speak, when it comes to such matters.
I didn’t do the deep dive, but I found little to nothing on the menu change when I looked into it prior (there was nothing under developer tools which proved useful, either). I’ve gotten by using ‘inspect’, and I’ll probably have to accept it, because I’ve more pressing matters for my time.
But if you find a registry change - if it exists - before I do, I’d appreciate hearing about it.
I was being a blockhead.
The context menu selection may be negated, but the code still exists in the browsers (I just tested both Edge & Chrome).
view-source:
preceding the url for the image. Unfortunately, it’s useless in everything except Chrome, but that’s what I use primarily for that purpose anyway.
