I would like to discuss very disturbing statistics from the UK, that clearly shows that Covid is becoming a chronic disease, in the same sense as AIDS is a chronic disease. Covid, for many Brits, is an illness that will just not go away. Endless bouts, recurrence, or even never-ending disease, is now the norm and not the exception, and will lead to a catastrophe.
Covid, now a “chronic disease” that makes people ill continuously or very frequently, is completely opposed to “endemic disease”, like colds, that would make people ill for just a few days a year.
Before I go further, let me point out again that I am NOT trying to badmouth the splendid United Kingdom. It is a wonderful country with rich culture, incredible people, and OUTSTANDING STATISTICAL AGENCIES. It is the latter that let me show the disaster unfolding there. People of the UK are diverse, and are not biologically very different from people in other countries. What I write about the UK, applies to any other highly vaccinated Western country.

This is a potential problem only in people who are unable to clear the virus naturally due to an impaired immune system. In healthy people after the virus is cleared the immune system should return back to normal. Also, since the vaccine produces a finite number of spikes any reduction in the T cell population due to the vaccine should be temporary.
I think the word you are looking for is endemic. Its just part of the ecosystem now.

Don’t forget many had to take the shots to continue generating an income. I never got the shot, but know a few who did so unwillingly - employers either ignored exemption requests or accepted them with impossible conditions (in one case, DAILY testing at the employee’s expense). In that particular case, the employee waited the employer out until the Supreme Court overturned the OSHA requirement - but even that took time.
My lying eyes showed in December 2021 no vax of any kind prevented infection at all; the people in my circle the worst hit by “Omicron” were the ones who got shots.
