The remake of Dune was such a big disappointment for me. To top it off, they just ended it right in the middle of the story (from the 1984 movie). For being made in this technological day nearly 4 decades later than the first movie it was very unimpressive.
I guess my problem is that I’m not a teenage girl salivating over that beanstalk Timothée Chalamet. Overdone smoldering looks aren’t a substitute for good acting.
I think DUNE was OK...But, not spectacular...But, it might win the BEST PICTURE...
