I am a woman, and 2022 marks my 50th year riding, (driving, not on the back).

I have had a few spills, one involving a tornado. A little tornado, yes, but it was a tornado in Ft. Lauderdale. .

I’m still here, and still riding (widowed, senior citizen, Christian, ‘Murican Conservative Freeper Woman)

I have buried quoite a few brothers, mostly who rode under the influence.

I learned to ride a bike before I learned to drive a car, so I am much more comfortable on my Harley.

I’m still here.

I can’t control other drivers or the weather, but I CAN control what I put in my body before I take the buckhorns.

That, I think, is what makes all the difference.

I worked with a lady who had a new sportster delivered and promptly drove it into her fence mangling her wrists.

A high school friend crashed on an interstate exit and was killed.

All were 50 or over.

Awesome and congrats... Riding a Harley is a lot like being a teacher.. those that can do, those that can’t teach.

Got my first helicopter ride via life flight, I still ride. Wasn’t my fault but you never give up.

I’d rather enjoy life than wonder what I could have enjoyed.

Had my first Harley 58 years ago, have 2 Harley’s now, 4 Triumph’s, a new Bonnie Speedmaster & 3 early ‘70’s classics that look and run like new - ride them all.

Have 8 kids - 5 sons, 3 daughters. 6 have their MC license, one girl loves riding behind Daddy, son w/o MC license has done dirt bikes. So all ride.

Fav ride is whole family, wife tucked behind me on my CVO Road Glide, kids on their bikes behind us.

Best friend with whom I rode over 10k miles/yr. for over 10 years killed in front of me in 2017 - brain lapse, ran familiar stop sign after sharp curve, hit by big truck. Strong Christian - God called him home. He was 67 and had just retired - safest biker I’ve ever known. He longed for Jesus to return.

I was shaken so bad said I’d never ride again. Next day, Lord said to me, “What’s changed? Have I changed?” No. Felt He said I had to get back in saddle right away - but I didn’t want to. One daughter who rides behind me on her bike a lot felt same way - felt God said same thing to her. He gave both of us II Tim. 1:7 apart from one another - but neither she nor I could ride alone. We rode together for 30 min - I was shaking like a leaf. We stopped for a soda. When we both got back on bikes - all was normal again.

Still pray my “Christian Biker’s Prayer” many have loved. PM me if you want a copy.

Almost all my riding is rural, twisty country roads, relaxed pace. When riding, I worship my God and pray - but still concentrating on my riding......wonderful times....
