I don’t understand why it’s so not hard to grasp the idea that of the billions of galaxies in the universe with billions of stars within each galaxy that some of those stars have planets orbiting them that might have intelligent life, life that could be thousands if not millions of years more advanced than life on Earth.

Even with the technology that exists on Earth we are out there looking for intelligent life outside of our solar system and galaxy.

We have the Mars Rover looking for past life on Mars.

We have the Hubble Telescope that has spent years looking for intelligent life elsewhere.

We have the Pioneer Satellites launched in the late 70s that have gone past our solar system looking for intelligent life.

We have the James Webb Space Telescope that is almost ready to begin producting data looking for intelligent life further out in space than ever before.

I couple of misconceptions exist regarding “alien life”.

1) they are eons more advanced.
On the contrary, they tend to learn from man. 50s era technology was analog as was most of their interaction with man.
Since the 2000s, their interactions have been more digital, evidenced by pixelation in images and even in spiritual phenomenon.

2) They are outside the human perception of religion.
They share one feature with humanity. They recognize the God of the Bible.

Place more verity in God’s Word than New Age attempts to convince people “aliens” are so much more superior than humans. They aren’t what they’re cracked up to be.

The chance of intelligent life existing elsewhere are slim to none without God's hand.

There aren't unlimited numbers of planets. There's a limit to what came out of the big bang, though there are many planets.

Then if you take into account all the things that have to be just right about our planet to support advanced life, while things have to be just right about our host star (sun), while things have to be just right about other planets (i.e. Jupiter is just big enough and just close enough to be a protective big brother pulling harmful asteroids into its large gravity well to protect us from life extinction events while being far away enough and small enough to not cause lots of tectonic activity on earth or mess up our orbit), while things have to be just right in our galaxy (i.e. we're in a window of the Milky Way galaxy in that we're not near too many stars with excessive cosmic radiation).

Even if there are billions of planets (which is what I believe too) the odds of there being a just right planet in a just right star system of a just right window of a just right galaxy, with all the many parameters required for each of those is still almost non-existent.

Once you realize all the fine tuning needed just for Earth to be right for advanced life, then you realize that the odds are against not just Earth's existence but also any other earth-like planet existing. There had to have been a Creator.

Once you realize that, then the question of if there is advanced life on another planet becomes not a question of how many planets are there for random chance to do its thing, but if God made another earth-like planet. I don't have the answer to that question.

Why are we spending a fortune looking for aliens in distant stars since supposedly they are here right now?

.Gov needs to get their story straight!

GOD does miracles. Angels use technology ... and there are good Angels and bad Angels. The Bible is laced with supernatural events. Until our epoch the concept of higher dimensional variables was un-imagined. But the Bible has scenes which can be explained by such a conceptualization. [HINT: see Daniel chapter five for a good example}

And then again other life might just be bacteria.
