What I have always found darkly comical is the fact that the ONLY one who had the balls to publicly call out Saville for his behaviour, back in the day, was Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols. The Beeb just about shat a brick, when Johnny talked about: “that cigar-muncher” in an interview.
If the BBC was a private company, they would have been sued out of existence.
