I am more interested in the PRICE of moving from one state to another. This tells me what states Americans are moving TO and OUT OF.

In other words and as an example, what is the price of moving FROM New York to Florida and Vice Versa?

my sis has been waiting for the movers for 2 weeks and counting to get her stuff from Boise to Jacksonville. house was loaded on the truck almost a month ago.

they claim they dont have drivers.

I have moved my family from Connecticut to Illinois, Illinois to Wisconsin, Wissconsin to Georgia, Georgia to Arizona.

It all depends on how much stuff you must move, and how much work you are willing to do yourself. U-Hauls cost more going to popular places like Arizona or Texas, and less go to places where people are moving from, like California.

I rent uhauls here in Washington state and I can tell you there are more people leaving than coming in. Getting harder and harder to find 26 foot trucks. Uhaul is giving big discounts to people who rent one way, say to Montana, if they will ddrive it back to Washington. Obviously if you’re moving to Florida that’s not gonna happen, but some will take the discount and drive it back.
