Radical social justice activists have been successful in advancing social engineering in segments of our society that would comply with their unattainable pursuit of a societal Utopia.
Gone from the college campus, late-night talk shows, and recent movies is humor based on the differences between communities, etc.
NASCAR, The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, is the most recent organization to bend its collective knees to the “woke”, antiracist mob.
They have just ordered driver Denny Hamlin to attend sensitivity training after he posted a video on Twitter.
In a now-deleted tweet, Hamlin posted a “Family Guy” clip, which depicts an Asian woman cutting across multiple lanes without putting on her turn signal. According to CBS Sports, the tweet was intended to make fun of NASCAR driver Kyle Larson, who caused a crash at last weekend’s race at Talladega Speedway.
Larson, who is half-Japanese, caused Kurt Busch and Bubba Wallace to crash at the end of the race after attempting to pass the race leader on the final lap. Busch and Wallace both race for 23XI, which is co-owned by Hamlin.
Hamlin deleted the initial tweet and apologized on Monday.
“I took down a post I made earlier today after reading some of the comments,” Hamlin said. “It was a poor choice of memes and I saw how it was offensive. It came across totally wrong. I apologize.”

I love that clip. I cite it to friends all the time. I live in a place where that isn’t satire.
The death knell for NASCAR was restrictor plates. Some mighr even argue roller chassises taking it further back. The continued restrictions and rule changes since the 1980s have been for the purpose of tughtening up the field to increase excitement and, coincidently, the number of pile ups.
Story: 1980 Daytona 500 Buddy Bakers team, Rainer Racing, had the last garage on on the left by the gate leading out to the track and pit road. They were pretty excited by the times the times the 28 car was turning. This was the famous Grey Ghost. After the final qualifier a representative of a new autowX wrangled an introduction to Waddel Wilson the crew chief. This guy claimed his wax would significantly reduce air friction on the car and that the wax was beinig used by some private pilots on aircraft. They decide to test the product. They waxed half the the hood and half the roof. Tested the wax by sliding various item across both waxed and unwaxed surfaces and in every instance the items just scooted across the waxed surface while barely moving on the unwaxed surface. Waddell was sold and they immediately started waxing the car. Now, i seem to recall the name of this wax was PolyPro (no quite sure) and polymer based waxes were new. Their slogan (which I definately remember) was “Rub it easy makes it hard”. They had box loads of T-shirts with the product name and slogan on it. Well every crew member had to have one. They ghought the shirts were hilarious for obvious reasons. The polymer company agreed to help sponsor the the car and paid $5,000 for a 1.5 square foot of ad space on the 28 car. Needless to say Buddy won setting and all time record for highest average race spped of 177.+, cN’t remember the fraction. The interesting thing was Buddy was two miles in the lead when he won. Converted to an overall percentage it matached the percentage of reduction in air friction the manufacturer was claiming. If you can find a post race picture of the 28 at that race you will see the ad decals on the car. There was a helluva party at Julian’s Restaurant in Ormand Beach on Sunday evening. Julian’s was Buddy favorite hangout in Daytona. Among the last of the good ol’ days.
Please pardon my typoes. I’m doing this on a cell phone and I’m old and have fat arthritic fingers. Thank you.
agree!
His reply should have been straight forward along the lines of; “the video I posted, simply showed an example of a bad driver. If you make it a racial matter, then you’re the one being racist, because you’re injecting YOUR racist perspective into something I never said”
Turn it on them, where it should be, because in reality it is their issue.
...that is all
One hundred percent agree with NASCAR. An apology is in order.
“I’m sorry y’all are a bunch of Nancy-boy twits. Put another quarter in the pinball machine and get another set of balls.”
His biggest crime was wreaking Bubba!! Nobody is supposed to make contact with the #23 car!!
I miss the Old Days when they settled things in the pits.
Looks to me like the car behind Hamlin’s simply “took the air off him”. That just a racing-deal and really you can’t pin that on a driver.
I’m not Elon Musk either but I told them to bugger off about the vaccine. Too many people not standing up to the BS and here we are….
There’ll be no argument from me.
NASCAR is making a big outreach to the black audience this year.
*********
The little I’ve watched this year they need to get some groups
to fill the stands. Used to be it was hard to get tickets but now
they can’t give enough away to get a large crowd. JMO
He was over, all over at the apology. Only total ruin can befall him now. The woke never forgive.
Good point. As woke as the NFL, NASCAR and all the other sports get, the cucks never cut these outfits off.
Probably related to the same reason we can watch our Bill of Rights being eliminated and do nothing.
I think a lot of people need their lives personally ruined before they will wake up.
It’s time for some enterprising young men to set up a competition for NASCAR...
The FoxNews of car racing..
It is like addiction. Addiction to anything ruins a person’s life because they purposely ignore the ramifications of their contining addiction and ignore the future.
Once the bad happens, the chances of rising out of it isn’t too good.
Watching and supporting woke sports is like continuing to drink tainted alcohol. “I’ll pretend it isn’t woke because I like it and it probably isn’t all that bad”.
When I first quit watching sports, I felt almost anxious as if I was missing something. I started reading more, going for walks/hikes more, and auditing courses on Coursera.
After a while I didn’t miss sports at all, and wondered how I ever wasted so much time watching men play games, and they probably hated me anyway.
I still play volleyball, sometimes softball, and train for Masters T&F. Active participation is way better than passive watching.
See, you started participating instead of watching. It sounds like a real plus for your life.
We have all been too accepting and not taking it seriously when the left has been steadily downgrading and ruining society. At times we laugh it off because what they do seems so idiotic. But they aren’t fooling around. They have had an agenda gaining ground for years and we are seeing it come to full fruition now.
Having lived in the Bay Area, I’ve witnessed this kind of thing first-hand.
