I travel to New Jersey frequently for business. On my last trip there I stopped at one of the major convenience stores in the state. They had already stopped using bags for their customers, in anticipation of the new law taking effect. So I got a first-hand preview of how idiotic the whole thing is.
Here’s the one thing that stood out in my mind as I left the store: Anything you do to make it inconvenient for the customer can’t be good for the CONVENIENCE store business.
