He put out two CW albums back in the 60s against the wishes of all his buddies. Ray didn’t listen to them and just insisted on cutting the albums. I had both vinyls back in the 60s but the first wife got them after the divorce. Since then, I’ve been able to get them again on CD. Excellent albums. I’m happy to see Ray inducted into the CW HOF.

He was. Released the classic album "Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music" and was even on an episode of "Hee Haw."
