Applying for government aid should be daunting, and should come with restrictions on what can be bought with my money. It should be limited to basic foodstuffs and come with mandatory classes on money management and meal preparation, and mandatory drug testing.
I wish it was only 4 moms.
For at least 3 generations adults have abdicated responsibility over their own lives to others and the gubmit.
What else would you expect from a single mother who probably dropped out of HS?
This was all part of the plan of course, thank you LBJ.
Generational “poverty” is quite lucrative.
Some years ago, here in PA, a single woman with 5 kids would have to have a job making $62,500 per annum to equal received benefits.
No doubt, it’s a lot more, now.
“Paperwork is hard.” It is even harder when you can barely read and speak the English language. And your family has lived here for 3-4 generations. Ebonics, anyone??
It helps to be able to read.
“Offer them and their children $500 each to receive free tubal ligations and vasectomies.”
The wails of racism and genocide would be heard across the universe.
Start a business and then know the meaning of paperwork. Add employees for extra fun.
Infuriating. They are too lazy to fill out paperwork to get their FREE stuff (courtesy of we idiot taxpayers) when they have time to sit around? BOO FRICKIN HOO!!!
I've been on Medicare since 2005, and have never had to fill out paperwork. They must be talking about all those non-English speaking aliens that come here, and suck off taxpayers.
Time to get rid of those tenants.
What else do they have to do? Does that time spent filling out forms take away from you drug use? Time is the one thing they have in abundance of.
Wah, frigging wah.
Somebody call the waaambulance.

They’d rather have a single page for with “Gimme” in large type, and a place to put your mark at the bottom.
“So her kids are now parasites, too.”
Sounds like it.
I sympathize. I have one renter who is having his rent paid by a diabetes foundation. There was very little paperwork needed by the tenant but a ton by me. It does come before the first of the month, and is much more dependable than the tenant was before. I have no idea, however when it will stop.
Both of my brothers have investment properties. Your story is reminiscent of the numerous stories they have shared. Nope, I have never been motivated to get into this arena of investing money and then depending on people to play square.
is it harder than WORK??? FYP!!! democRATS...
Tax returns are hard, too.
Yes, but title should be Medicaid not Medicare
