With respect to the left protesting at the homes of Supreme Court justices. Is it legal?
I see :
It is illegal to peacefully protest in front of a justice’s home.

But Doesnt this conflict with the first amendment?
It’s illegal and it’s a violation of Virginia state law as well.

If it is threatening physically or emotionally, it is not peaceable. The law appears to, like many others, uses the premise of “intention”.
The judiciary is not a political branch. So, no, the law doesn’t violate the First Amendment.
What about this rule ?
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
(The United States Constitution, Amendment 1).
But they are part of the government.
Lots of things are illegal, but lately they still take place with impunity - and nobody is punished for them.
The thing about these protests is that they won’t make a bit of difference to the outcome - and that will be a pretty neat punishment.
These particular demos are threatening by their nature and can not be viewed as peaceable, too.
Of course it is.
Executive, Legislative and Judicial...the three branches of our government.
I’m sure they’ll look at all the video of the protestors and be finding and arresting them. Then they’ll hold them for over a year without ever even charging them. Some they will be put in solitary confinement too.
You know, like the stuff they did to the Jan 6 protestors? We know they’ll be doing that because of how honest, fair and equitable they always are, right?
What is stunning to me is the women who are demanding that killing their babies is acceptable in society at all.

About 20 years ago, my daughter and I were discussing abortion...My 8 year old granddaughter popped up...How could anyone kill their own baby?? Out of the mouth of babes.
My granddaughter recently sent me the opinion and asked my thoughts to see if they agreed with hers. She didn't give me a clue about her present thoughts. She's going to a VERY liberal college.
I told her my personal feelings...and then told her the story about when she was 8. I think I gave her food for thought.
Have you noticed at their protests you never see photos of babies, you always see examples of the uterus or womans sexual organs. hey never mention the babies or use the word.
I’ve always said why is it when a baby is wanted the mother announces this with joy and wants others to celebrate with her ‘before’ she gives birth. But if the baby is not wanted it suddenly is just ‘tissue’ easily to be discarded.
The ‘natural’ reaction is “I’m having a baby” - and that speaks volumes.
The intent of the "assembly" is to intimidate a Supreme Court Justice to change an opinion/ruling.

I’m looking for this type of argument.
The mother has the ‘choice’ to murder her own baby ‘without prosecution for murder’.....just as she had the choice to have sexual relations or not. Abortion is getting rid of 'the evidence'. of those choice's.
