There are people who see this and think it is the most awesome thing ever.

Good God. I am on the verge of becoming a luddite.

"Good God. I am on the verge of becoming a luddite."

With this type of tech, It's not like you're going to be allowed to go Amish and enjoy a technology free community.

The only option is to build better faster smarter tech to counter the threat.

Build your own drone army and collect the enemy drone army before they are delivered if you can.

I think it was Elon Musk who warned that AI has the potential to cause more damage than nuclear weapons. Especially if they’re autonomous and can replicate.

Me too. I'm reminded of a line from "Jurassic Park" where the character Ian Malcolm says "Yeah, yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should."

I've read Michael Crichton's "Prey" and watched the Terminator series of movies up to but not including the latest woke trash. Yes these are works of fiction. However, we seem to be busy putting in place many of the technological building blocks that could lead to disastrous situations as depicted in these stories.
