A single mother of a biracial son is suing his school over its 'anti-racism' programme, saying he now sees things that don't go his way as racism.
Melissa Riley, from Charlottesville in Virginia, said that her 13-year-old boy never saw himself as different to other students until the Albemarle School District introduced an 'anti-racism' programme to his middle school last spring.
Speaking to Fox News, she said it was then that he began thinking in terms of race.
'We didn't have issues before. He is in eighth grade,' Riley told Fox News host Jesse Watters on Monday evening. 'He's seeing himself just as a Black man. He's seeing things that don't go his way as racism. And he is finding safety in numbers now.'
Riley said that her teenage son started to accuse her and others of racism as a way to get out of doing chores and other responsibilities. In one example, she said he once accused her of being racist when she asked him to clean the house.
'They have totally changed his perspective. They have put him in a box,' she said of the curriculum at Henley Middle School in Crozet, Virginia.
She told the news channel that her son is using racism 'as an excuse because they have told him that that's how people see him, as a Black man, that the world is against and [he] sees it as a negative now.'

An accusation of racism is a get out of jail free card. As long as it is honored, blacks would be stupid not to play it. All of the LGBLT+ crowd was a card too.
Race relations since the 1960s had improved far too much.

My daughter just told me a story about kids she saw at a swimming pool — Two white kids in the pool, playing around. They were splashing each other, as kids do. Then a black kid jumped in and wanted to play with them. Fair enough. Everything is good. The white kids splash other. The black kid splashes the white kids. It’s all fun. Then a white kid splashed the black kid. The black kid started yelling that it was “Racist!”
In my opinion, there is no hope for someone with that junk in their head.
So liberals ruined another perfectly good child.
These people work for the devil.

And, Melissa. As the kid's mom, you're allowing your brat to stall your parenting with dialogue? If he's not performing at the present, guaranteed, he didn't just wake up some morning and start rebelling.
Spare the rod and spoil the child, and all that.

Interestingly Jesse asked about the father to which the mother answered “I’m a single mom.” That was it ... no elaboration. We can assume that the father is unknown or has abandoned the family either by his choice or by request of the mom. Only two people know ...
It sounds as if Dad was a “bounder.”
Good for the Mom. But, her real work will be correcting the damage done to her son by the school.
The people who preach CRT live in their own world as they want it to be when the idea of utopia doesn’t work for them.
They need meds and therapy
