From other articles of this incident, he worked at Fed Ex and his ‘motorcycle’ was of the overgrown scooter variety.

They need to update the sign on the pump:
No Smoking
No Cell Phones
No Tasers

Back in the day we used night sticks and sap gloves. I never set anyone on fire.

And never fill a gas can unless it’s grounded. Saw a dude light himself up putting gasoline in cans while in the back of his truck. Static electricity can kill.

Yikes.
I try to ground first if I can.
And I resist even answering my cell phone while pumping. Maybe it doesn’t matter since they often ping or are pinged.

There’s never been a
confirmed case of a cell phone causing a fire from gas vapors at a gas pump. The majority of non-impact gas pump vapor fires are caused by smoking and by static electricity— often generated by people (usually women) getting in and out of their cars while pumping gas. When they return to remove the nozzle, the static electricity transfers from their hands to the gas vapors surrounding the fill port and WHOOSH! you’re a flaming hors d'oeuvre.
Note that most gas pumps (except in certain parts of the country or various chain stations) do not have warnings against cell phone use due to gas vapors. The ones that do are because of CYA.

I use plastic containers for gasoline.

Tasers are ‘Less than Lethal’ by classification. At 75% 3rd degree burns, this man’s life is nothing but pain and will be that forever.
God Bless!

It’s not the containers that catch fire .. it’s the gasoline vapors!😳

You would think taser use around flammables would be part of police training. If nothing else, I’m sure like all products, the manufacturer has to put all sorts of safety warnings in it’s literature. Owner’s manuals these days have more safety warning content than actually use instructions. Multiple languages too.
First warning; Read all safety warnings before using this product.

Check out the book “Three felonies a day.”
According to the author everyone commits 3 felonies a day due to the number of laws in this country.

So in the video it looks like he was fleeing the police and then stopped for gas. Was he then attacked for no reason or did he struggle and maybe have a concealed weapon? Can’t tell from video what went on.

“In Osceola County we have no tolerance for this type of behavior,” said Osceola Sheriff Marcos Lopez. “We will identify you and catch you, even if you flee into another county.” Been 10 years since I lived in FL but the way I heard it, FL law says cops can cross county lines only when in hot pursuit. Don't know if that was the case. Probably not if the guy was already pumping gas.
I do know that FL cops are very pro-active. They really get off on the adrenaline rush.
