Somebody should explain economics to the Polish prime minister, and why Russian pipeline natgas was cheaper than a smaller source of natgas that everyone suddenly wants. Oh, that's easy! Because Germany's Merkel thought becoming dependent on Russian gas would make Russia less bellicose!

The cheap Russian energy built Germany up into the EU's economic powerhouse.
