Endorsement of Tim Michels (President Trump, Wisconsin GOP Governor's Race)
Save America ^ | June 2, 2022 | President Donald J. Trump

Posted on 06/03/2022 9:08:09 AM PDT by Diana in Wisconsin

Tim Michels is a very successful businessman running for Governor of the Great State of Wisconsin.

During my Administration, Tim served on my infrastructure task force, and helped us plan and start building the Keystone XL Pipeline before Joe Biden launched his assault on American Energy production.

The current Governor, Tony Evers, has been an abject failure for the people of Wisconsin, from his abysmal handling of the China Virus, where his lockdowns were unprecedented, to rampant crime across the State.

Wisconsin needs a Governor who will Stop Inflation, Uphold the Rule of Law, strengthen our Borders (we had the strongest borders in history just two years ago, now we have the weakest!) and End the well-documented Fraud in our Elections. Tim Michels is the best candidate to deliver meaningful solutions to these problems, and he will produce jobs like no one else can even imagine. Tim is an America First Conservative who Supports our Second Amendment, Honors our Brave Law Enforcement and First Responders, and Stands Strongly against the Woke Mob trying to destroy our Country.

Tim Michels has my Complete and Total Endorsement. If Wisconsin has the wisdom to make Tim their next governor, it will have unprecedented success!

Running as the total outsider, and much in the mold of President Trump. Good public speaker, rich enough that he's not taking any cash-money from anyone 'big.' Senator Ron Johnson-like in that respect. Will put his company in a Trust if elected and won't draw a dime from it while he's Governor.

He's making headway against my pick, Rebecca Kleefisch, who was our Lt. Governor under Scott Walker.

I've got a lot of thinking to do on this one between now and November! MAGA!

Wasn’t sure WHERE President Trump’s statement should go, so I just put it in ‘General/Chat. Move it if need be. Thanks! :)

I would guess that GOP ‘elders’ would choose Kleefish under the old ways where primary voters didn’t have a say. Humphrey went down because he was too tied to the Johnson administration. Walker got thrown out so the consensus is she’d be more of the same. Something tells me Trump’s aware of this and has nothing to lose either way. His takes his endorsement serious like a woman’s virginity. Can’t just give it away. Many do btw.

Michels could surprise I guess. There are several successful(unknown) businessmen who got involved in politics and won governorships. Think Johnson(NM),Rihordin(Ca). Go for broke I guess.

Riordin didn’t win-forgot. Any others that did?

Calif. recall. All those candidates. Peter Ueberroth was the most successful track-record-wise but the voters went for the flash in Arnold. Ueberroth was 66 at the time. Ran the olympics and MLB big time. Voters missed opportunity.

So it’s a crap shoot. Gamble when you should like Trump’s doing now. Too often the public doesn’t know what they missed out on as I’m suggesting with Ueberroth. California conservatives went with Bill Simon Jr. in 2002-a joke of which I must plead guilty also. We should win or lose with what Trump endorses, even if it’s Oz. We won’t agree with all his choices but think of the big picture. I’m registered libertarian but never voted for one.

Rebecca came out against the election. Saying it was a fraud. I am worried this guy spent the past 5 years in Connecticut and Manhattan. He made his money selling to democrats in NY. I guess he could be sort of like Trump. But he swims with democrats.

He is not an outsider. He is part of the road building cabal. Better than Evers though. Ed in Wisconsin

In Wisconsin, especially in Paul Ryan’s old district. We have a highway 94. It is the most beautiful interstate in the country. Every 5 years it gets replaced whether it needs it or not. It never needs it. There are 8 brand new lanes that handle the Kenosha traffic. They were also brand new 5 years ago and five years before that. Wisconsin roads are fabulous. But Wisconsin tax payers don’t buy them.

Still Kleefisch here.

This whole mantle of Michaels of being the total outsider though sticks in my craw. It was a handshake agreement between he and Tommy Thompson as to who was going to put their hat in the ring after Diane Hendricks pulled her previous backing of Kleefisch (financial powerplayer in WI GOP).

I will of course support whomever against Evers, but this “political outsider” has some of the most inside baseball political supporters in the State of Wisconsin.

“But he swims with democrats.”

Yep. Like I said - lots to think about. Rebecca is still my first choice. She is tireless and a fighter.

He can’t carry the suburban women’s vote in the general so can’t beat Evers. Becky should be the choice, imho. Plus Michels lives in Connecticut. Think Evers campaign might make some hay with that info? I sure do. Up-norths won’t be having none of that.

Here’s the wild thing about Kleefisch...she’s not doing as well with suburban women as you’d think per talk radio which includes some pro Kleefisch personalities.

Right after Hendricks pulled her support 1130am opened phone lines as to the grumblings it had to do with suburban women dissatisfaction.

Was surprising but there is something about Kleefisch that just isn’t sealing the deal...some complaints on policy, some on eduacation, some on personality.

Maybe its a woman thing (no offense meant to FR women) but the host was genuniely surprised by the volume of calls he got on it.

So was Leah Vukmir.

WI general voters do not support “women who are fighters”.

I wish it were not true, but it is

It’s her manner of presentation.

“I’m the cookie-baking, coupon clipping Mom who is a fighter who fights.” comes off as inauthentic and it prevents people from actually listening to what she has to say

It’s totally unfair that women are judged on a completely different scale, but it is reality
