St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jack Flaherty blasted several Tampa Bay Rays players for refusing to wear the gay pride logo in Saturday’s game.
Flaherty steamed that the players’ decision was an “absolute joke,” as he criticized Rays Jason Adam, Jalen Beeks, Brooks Raley, Jeffrey Springs, and Ryan Thompson for refusing to wear the activist logo.

He sounds more like a catcher than a pitcher.
Baseball...home of the switch hitter.
Growing up, there weren't many people as huge a fan of spectator sports as I was.
Faint echos of my former fandom somewhat remain but the NBA, NFL, and MLB are virtually dead to me today.
I still can enjoy the National Hockey League, though, as I havent see any dumb Bell woke messages from that league.
Religion? How about, “I don’t like being told who to advertise for?”
I get that but I don’t see the LGBTQ community voicing this and helping to tame things down. I see them wearing the rainbow hats and clothing and even rainbow scarves at their graduations like “look at me, I’m gay!” An awful lot of gays have to let you know they are gay and “proud” of it. To me they just seem to be looking for some sort of validation that it’s ok to be gay or bi or queer, whatever. In other words they need the attention.
1961 and 1973 will arrive this week.
Flaherty is a Black Lives Matter supporter. Clearly he hates wholesome American values.
He is adopted by a White woman. He is half black and half White but because it buys him aggrieved person status he identifies as Black.
Having been brought up White and now electing to “be Black” be doesn’t understand that being Black does not mean supporting perverted sexual practices. He is actually bigoted toward his chosen race but is too ignorant to know it.
It was a personal decision by the Rays pitchers. Flaherty needs to mind his own business.
Flaherty is one of the big reasons I stopped watching baseball. He wore a BLM Tshirt at practice for months at the start of the rioting etc. Cards need to cut him. He was their ace but right after he wore that shirt, he got hurt and has yet to be back in the lineup. I see he’s up to his woke ways again. Jerk.
Please don't go subservient woke on us.
Other common cases of being subservient to woke:
Using “gender” instead of “sex” is woke.
Using “Black” instead of “black” is woke”.
Using “Gender affirming surgery” instead of “genital mutilation surgery” is woke.
Using "Undocumented immigrant" instead of "Illegal immigrant" or "Illegal alien" is woke.
Using the term "equity" (equal outcome) instead of "equality" (equal opportunity) is woke.
Affirmative Action = quotas = discrimination = woke.
Jack Flaherty’s a homo.
Tell that to ubama…
Appears that at least a few of the players had the good sense not to be pimps for queer things.
...coulda been worse
Yeah…woke joke…goodbye…find enough deviants to support your sport…
Is he back playing? He isn’t even on the roster because of a shoulder injury. He had a ‘rehab start’ yesterday Double A Springfield. I’m getting to send the Cardinals an email not that that will do anything but... feel compelled to. Somebody dug into Brenden Donavons tweets from 9-11 years ago, when he was a teenager, and found ‘bad’ tweets a.k.a. homophobic (oh the horror!) and forced the kid (25) to apologize and grovel recently. I feel like I fell through the looking glass.
I am lucky...I have always found baseball to be the most boring endeavor that humans have ever created. It’s torture to watch.
The only thing it is good for is taking a nap with it at low volume on TV while the announcer drones on about the pitch count and how the current batter is related to some other boring POS story I couldn’t care less about.
So... we must all respect (actually celebrate) an alternative lifestyle, but Jack Flaherty is allowed to disrespect a major world religion? Got it!
