Agree. Best thing they could do. Just take the money and run. Its all just ceremony anyway. I doubt the people actually believe in it. They care because the British media tells them to.
The whole royalty thing is weird. For example, France abolished its royalty system more than 150 years ago. Yet we still have Frenchmen who call themselves “counts” based on some ancestor.
Those folks should be laughed at. Instead, many people take them seriously.
But wait. It gets even sillier. There are sites on the Internet where you can buy French titles of nobility. They are certainly scam sites, but they wouldn’t exist if they had no customers.
I’d like to say more, but I’ve got to get my bid in for a French barony.

I’m not a UK citizen, so I don’t care. Not my circus; Not my monkeys. But Harry and Megan are a different story. He was never in line to assume the throne and she was a B rated actress at best. I don’t care them either and wish they would go back to the UK and take their woke circus with them.
