I’d first like to thank the Indianapolis Colts organization for granting me the opportunity to compete in the National Football League the past three years. I’ve built lifelong relationships with numerous teammates, coaches and support staff that have impacted me greatly. The lessons I’ve learned in this phase of my life will be valuable for me in my next chapter," Willis started.
"With much prayer and deliberation, I have elected to officially retire from the NFL as I endeavor to devote the remainder of my life to the further advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I thank all of my family, friends and those who have supported me on this journey thus far and I look forward to your continued support through the next phase of my life.“

Amen.
The fruit of righteousness is a tree of life and he who wins souls is wise!
What wonderful news! I wish him all the best!
Good man.
He kneels for only GOD. Smart man....
I hear him speak at a National Prayer breakfast a few years back here in Delaware.
It is to be hoped that God will give Khari many years. God took Reggie home at age 43. Actually, a very good thing for Reggie. Left us all a bit poorer since.
May God bless Khari and minister effectively through him.
Yeah I bet he comes back to football in a few years.
An NFL career is short, with only a few exceptions. Guys get there and then they think about more important things.
Kari must have a
Nice bank account.
Will he give it to
Widows and Orphans?
.
Well, I hope I’m wrong.
But right now I think he goes back to football.
Hes going to find that life very boring, relatively speaking, and miss the attention. Hes only 26. I just think the odds are he goes back.

I Believe he had made 2.5 million through his contract to date. Agents, taxes, family, probably not a huge amount left. I guess there’s could have been some endorsement deals and whatnot but I’d be surprise if he’s worth more than 1.5 million at this point. Yes 95% of Americans would love to be in that position.
We are all on a Razors edge with a World erupting in all directions. The call to Proclaim Hope to a Dying Culture becomes impossible to ignore. Feed My Sheep is
Ringing in Kharis’ ears.
.
Many have done this.
Having known a Steeler from long ago who had his career end early, the fall from being an elite athlete and the center of attention is a one to three year depression hazard. If his ministry is planned out and he has earthly support it may be a transition he can, God willing, deal with sufficiently.
Lots of charlatans also come out in times like this, to do their work as well and cash in.
We’ll see where he falls. Hopefully its legit.
A million point five ain’t what it used to be.
I don’t mean to be crass but I think 4 or 5 athletes
Have done this and it turns
Sour.
Wish Him Well!
Prayers up for this man.
Agreed. Nice to see such passion.
