At least two people were killed and five others injured during a “drive-by” mass shooting late Saturday in San Antonio, a local police head said.
The seven people were shot about 10 p.m. as a family was barbecuing outside a house, while multiple children were inside, San Antonio Police Department Chief William McManus told reporters during a press conference.

It was in the SA barrio at someone’s house. Gangbangers pulled up and shot them in their front yard. It’s a rough part of town and I’ll give you one guess as to who the majority in that part of town is.

The header is a little misleading. Makes it sound like the incident went down at Sonny’s BBQ restaurant. Just a typical bbq curbside.
There’s some history at that house.
(San Antonio Police Department Chief) McManus said there was “a deadly conduct” at the address in the city’s southwest back in May. But other than that, he said police did not have any history on the house.
There was no description of the possible suspect or suspects, he said.
McManus could not confirm if the shooting was targeted, but he said investigators “have a couple of theories.”
