Feds raid churches near military installations, including one in Killeen near Fort Hood (Texas)

KWTX) - Federal agents on Thursday raided three churches near military installations across the Southern U.S., including the Assembly of Prayer Christian Church in Killeen.

“I can confirm the FBI was executing court authorized law enforcement activity today in the vicinity of the intersection of Massey St. and E. Rancier Ave., in Killeen, Texas. No additional information will be released at this time,” FBI Special Agent Carmen Portillo said in an emailed statement to KWTX.

Having lived in and around Ft Hood during a lot of my US Army career, I needed to read the article to see if some of my friends were hit by this.

Thankfully, this wasn’t even close, but with the Federal government these days I can never be sure.

It's hard to tell what's going on. However, charismatic churches have been more strongly anti-government than cessationist evangelical churches. With the exception of John MacArthur, the resistance to COVID lockdowns and vaccines has centered in charismatic pastors. The Deep State does not want defections in the military. They may be targeting these churches because they are adjacent to military bases.
